Came last night to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. Positivs: beautiful view overlooking lake. Great service. Attentive and spoke English although I conversed in Italian. Food was of a very high quality. The beef tataki was perfect medium rare and so tender.We paid €122 and had 1 shared starter, 2 mains, 2 desserts, 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine and an "amaro" drink. So actually excellent value in my opinion. Negatives: only 1 and it's a personal one. We had made it quite clear that it was a special occasion for us and we're celebrating. It was mentioned on the reservation booking and we spoke about it on the night. I felt you could have offered a drink( limoncello etc) or a Little chocolate. I have dined at places ranging from a small family run Sicilian restaurant to the 5 star Dorchester in London. And when it's been a special occasion they have always done something extra to make it special. You didn't do that. All you had to say was " as you're celebrating Vi possiamo offrire..........". We are not after free food or drinks but it was the gesture that you lacked and unfortunately due to this we left a little bit disappointed. It's the difference between definitely coming back or thinking about coming back.

Food is very good! The fish was very well cooked as well as the dessert. It was quite busy, so it was hard to get continuous attention from servers. It was also very hot with open windows in July.
Excellent service and they managed to squeeze us in without a reservation. Great views of the lake. Our antipasti were delicious (we got the bresaola and the smoked salmon with burrata). Our mains (beef fillet and gnocchi) could have been a bit more flavourful but the beef was cooked to perfection. Overall we had a really lovely dinner and I would highly recommend.
Absolutely sensational food, view and service from the very friendly staff. We shared the big deli meat platter which was the best we have ever had. We then had the cannelloni, and braised beef on the most pillowy mash. Staff were very accommodating, knowledgeable and sweet even when we didn't have cash for their tip!
Amazing view, delicious food and very pleasant, helpful staff. We ate here tonight, had the farm fresh salad, baked fish and beef dish . Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff helped us with parking as well! Would come back again!
While staying in Carate Urio, this was our go to restaurant for every dinner. The food is amazing and the staff very welcoming for a really good price. We had the best lasagna and panna cotta. They also have the best tiramisu in town. You really have to try the timoncello. I couldn’t recommend more this restaurant. We will definitely come back with the next occasion.
I came here for a birthday dinner and was left with one of the most memorable moments of my time in Como. The staff were so unbelievably friendly. Two from our table won a limoncello shot so at the end the staff brought us a total of 4 free shots because “it’s better to drink in company!” I also got a free tiramisu portion with a candle! The food was excellent and the chef was really nice. Yes a little on the pricey side but the view, intimate atmosphere and quality food & wine was all worth it! Also… the table bread - incredible!!
